Trideum partners with the Trideum Foundation annually to host “Grounds for Hope”. “Grounds for Hope” is a celebration of faith in outreach to honor those in our communities who demonstrate the Gospel through charitable actions. We want to enable conversations between nonprofit organizations, churches and businesses that empower, encourage, and inspire faith-filled outreach. When the Hope of Christ is presented along with a helping hand, we provide more than just a temporary fix to an immediate problem, we champion an eternal foundation rooted in Christian love.
At the core, “Grounds for Hope” raises awareness and funds for the critical role that faith can play in outreach. We honor those who effectively share the hope of Christ along with a helping hand. Anyone can help us chose who to honor by completing a nomination form at www.groundsforhopehuntsville.com. We honor individuals, non profit organizations, churches and businesses at this event as selected by independent panels of judges who evaluate the nominations. Then we share the stories we receive to inspire others to make a difference as well.
The event started in 2019 with a dinner event in Huntsville that featured Pam Tebow and attracted over 600 participants. In the COVID year of 2020, the event was forced to expand online and reimagine the event with COVID participation limitations. Featuring Mark Lee, of the Grammy Winning band Third Day in both a fundraising concert and as a speaker for the awards event, the 2020 event was a success despite the COVID challenges. The 2020 event raised even more funding for our honored outreaches than the 2019 event and combined the first two events raised nearly $100,000. In 2021 the event is expanding geographically to include participation from other regions of the country. The event in 2021 will feature Jeff Allen in a Celebration event in Huntsville that will serve as a fundraising event for our geographically integrated awards event to be hosted from multiple locations and also available via live stream from the Trideum Foundation Facebook page.
Although the event will be different again this year, we are excited at the continued expansion and the ability to bring more communities together to celebrate the role of faith in outreach. The lessons learned during COVID have helped set the stage for the multi-city event in 2021.
Especially now, with so much going on around us, the world needs more hope. That is what we hope to share with Grounds for Hope.
