FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Trideum Corporation was awarded the Distance Learning Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) Production Services contract for the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) on Sept. 18.
Under the contract, Trideum produces distance learning courseware for non-resident Command and General Staff Officers Course (CGSOC) students. The Trideum courseware will parallel residential instruction and achieve the same learning outcomes without the cost associated with resident courses. The contract requires the distance learning products to be engaging, educationally effective, and relevant to field grade officers.
Trideum will also collaborate with the CGSC Department of Distance Education to develop new distance learning course materials, and maintain their collection of distance learning products to ensure they keep pace with the needs of the Army.

The Distance Learning effort is a task order contract under Trideum’s U.S. Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth (USACACFL) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The USACACFL ID/IQ provides support services for developing and producing training and education strategies, scientific human subject studies, doctrine, concepts, instruction, and products for the current and future force.
About the Command and General Staff Officers Course: Fort Leavenworth’s CGSC offers the CGSOC, which is the credentialing course for field grade officers in the operational Army. Students complete the course in an experiential learning environment which yields adaptive, self-aware, field grade leaders of character and competence who can shape the joint operational environment. The Army instructs the course in both resident and non-resident formats.
