Trideum Corporation announces the addition of Hoot Gibson as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Hoot’s arrival, the current President of Trideum, Favio Lopez, performed a dual role as President and Chief Operating Officer. The separation of duties between President and COO supports Trideum’s rapid growth by providing additional leadership to help guide the corporate business and functional operations, including IT, accounting, contracts, quality, HR, security, and more. Trideum earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies in the U.S. eleven times over the past twelve years, and continues steady growth.
“I am excited about Hoot joining our team, and helping the organization continue to grow and mature. Hoot is an exceptional leader that brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Trideum.” —Favio Lopez, President of Trideum Corporation
Hoot brings more than 35 years of experience supporting DoD and our intelligence community. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, he also earned advanced degrees from Wright State University and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He has managed some of the largest acquisitions programs in the DoD to include Aircraft, Ground, and Space Control programs as a DAWIA Level III Acquisition Certified Professional. Upon retirement from the USAF, he transitioned into contractor roles where he developed best-practices, strategic plans, and solved a wide range of operational issues across the customers and organizations he served.
In 2010 he accepted a position at Jacobs, where he spent twelve years, in progressively challenging roles including Director of Business Development, escalating to Vice President and General Manager for a Tampa based business unit.
Most recently, he spent two-and-a-half years as President of Ardent Eagle Solutions, helping the company to achieve double-digit growth and prepare for large-business operations.
“Trideum’s excellent reputation across the DoD community makes it a very desirable place to serve. I’m tremendously honored and genuinely thrilled to join the Trideum team at a very exciting time in their journey as a company.” – Robert “Hoot” Gibson
