Trideum Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Ruth to the position of Director of Security and Safety. This strategic promotion represents Trideum’s ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest standards of security and safety across all operations, ensuring robust support for its government customers and industry partners.
Robert Gibson, Chief Operating Officer at Trideum, commented on the company’s decision to create the role, saying, “Both Security and Safety are critically important to Trideum’s success and needs to be led in a deliberate fashion. We recognized Jim Ruth’s leadership would allow us to ensure integration of critical security requirements, both facility and IT, and ensure we approach safety with the same rigor. Jim’s organizational skills and attention to detail are perfect for his new Director role.”
Jim Ruth, who has been with Trideum for five years, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in security and safety management. In his new role, Jim will be responsible for managing industrial security in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), coordinating cybersecurity efforts in line with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and leading the company’s safety and environment management to ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations.
Jim Ruth expressed his enthusiasm about his new position, stating, “These compliance programs are foundational to doing business with government customers and industry partners. I look forward to continuing these and other programs that Trideum already has in place and to maintain our value as service providers and teammates.”
Before his retirement from Active Duty with the Army and successive roles with other defense contracting companies prior to joining Trideum, his focus was on operational architecture of components of the US Army’s command and control systems and integration with North Atlantic Treaty Organization nations while concurrently supporting security and IT functions.
Jim served in the Kansas Army National Guard as an Active Guard Reserve Office in the Field Artillery and held multiple leadership positions in various units from battery to division. Jim holds master’s degrees from Kansas State University and from Webster University. He has attained the Project Management Professional and Information System Security Professional certifications. He has been, and continues to be, happily married to his wife Pam for over 40 years and they have three grown children and four grandchildren.
