Trideum Corporation is pleased to announce that David Elkins has been hired as a Principal Solutions Strategist. David previously served as the Deputy Commander/Technical Director of Redstone Test Center (RTC), US Army Test and Evaluation Command and brings more than 34 years of test and evaluation experience, as well as innovation and capability development to the role.
As lead for the team of senior solutions architects for Trideum’s Science and Technology (S&T) sector, David will help to identify and integrate capabilities for cybersecurity, data analytics, non-kinetic threats, AI/ML, autonomy and multi-domain operations. This will involve the strategic application or development of technologies necessary to solve customer’s complex challenges, and the rapid transition of those technologies to operations teams in the S&T sector for ongoing customer support.
David expressed his enthusiasm for accepting this role, saying “Trideum has a strong track record of transformative work and operating at the ‘tip of the spear.’ It was my exposure to the strong character of Trideum’s people, their servant attitude and excellent performance that made me want to be a part of this incredible family.”
An alumnus of Auburn University, David holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering as well as an MBA. He has received the Honorable Order of St. Michael Bronze Award; and the RTC M&S Division was awarded the Army Modeling and Simulation Office (AMSO) Team award on multiple occasions during his last 5 years there.
As a resident of the Huntsville, AL area, David currently serves on the Providence Classical School Board of Directors, and volunteers as the school’s athletic director. He and his wife, Daralyn, have been married for 33 years and have three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, hiking, running, and spending time with his family. David has coached youth athletics for many years, and attends Rivertree Church where he ministers to newlywed couples.
